About Liquid Market

What is Liquid Market?
Liquid Market is an anonymous tender platform for UK hospitality venues. Instead of chasing quotes from suppliers one by one, you submit your drinks list once and every qualifying wholesaler in your area competes to win your business — without ever knowing who you are.
How does Liquid Market work?
Three simple steps. (1) Create your venue account and your identity is protected from then on. (2) Upload your product list manually, or upload a recent invoice and we'll generate it for you. (3) We send your tender to every qualifying wholesaler in your delivery area. They have 7 days to return their best quote, and you see every offer side-by-side with savings highlighted line-by-line.
Who is Liquid Market for?
Any UK hospitality venue that buys drinks — pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, nightclubs, and multi-site groups. Whether you run one venue hands-on or oversee procurement across several sites, the platform is built to save you time and money.
What makes Liquid Market different?
Anonymous, structured tenders. You don't need to take calls from sales reps, build relationships, or compete blind. Wholesalers see what you buy and what you currently pay, but they never see who you are — so decisions are made on price and service, not history.
When does Liquid Market launch?
We're launching in July 2026. You can join the launch list now as a venue or a wholesaler, and we'll be in touch as we open the platform up.
Is Liquid Market free to use?
Free forever for venues. Wholesalers pay a tiered subscription based on the number of depots they operate.

For Venues

How does anonymous tendering work?
When you register, your venue name, address and identifying details are kept hidden. Wholesalers see the location (postcode district), venue type, full product list and your current pricing — but not who you are. Your identity is only revealed when you choose a wholesaler and accept their quote.
What types of drinks can I tender?
Everything you'd expect behind the bar — spirits, wine, beer, cider, soft drinks and more. From premium spirits to post-mix and packaged softs, if it's stocked in the on-trade, it's covered.
Can I upload an invoice instead of typing out my product list?
Yes. Upload a recent invoice and we'll generate your product list automatically — volumes, sizes and current pricing included. This also acts as verification to the wholesaler, which keeps the tender process honest on both sides.
Will I get quotes from wholesalers who can't actually deliver to me?
No. Wholesalers configure their own delivery postcode coverage, so your tender only goes to wholesalers who can serve your venue. Every bid you receive is from a supplier who can actually deliver.
Can I exclude specific wholesalers or focus on certain categories?
Yes. Stay in control of who tenders for your business — exclude specific suppliers, focus on certain categories (like beer only), and tailor exactly how your tender is sent out.
How long does the tender process take?
Wholesalers have 7 days from receiving your tender to return a quote. We'll email you when the tender closes and your comparison view is ready.
Can I see how each wholesaler's quote compares to what I pay today?
Yes. Every quote is benchmarked against your current on-invoice pricing line-by-line, with your total saving (or loss) calculated automatically. Notable takeaways are highlighted so you don't have to dig.
Can I place orders directly through Liquid Market?
No. Once you choose a wholesaler, your commercial relationship sits directly with them — you order, they invoice. Liquid Market handles the comparison and decision; ordering then follows through your chosen supplier.
Can I use Liquid Market for multiple venues?
Yes. It's particularly powerful for multi-site operators looking to standardise and optimise buying across sites.

For Wholesalers

How does Liquid Market work for wholesalers?
Every tender on Liquid Market is from a real venue actively comparing supply. You receive qualified leads in your delivery area along with the venue's full product list, weekly/monthly volumes and current pricing — everything you need to price competitively in one place.
Do I see who the venue is?
No. Venue identity is protected throughout the tender process. You see venue type, postcode district, product list and current pricing — but the venue's name and address are only shared once they accept your quote.
How is pricing structured for wholesalers?
Tiered, fair pricing based on the number of depots you operate. Choose monthly or annual billing.
Will I be sent tenders from outside my delivery area?
No. You set your own coverage by postcode district and only receive tenders from venues you can actually serve.
Can I compete on more than just price?
Yes. Build a profile with positive feedback and reviews — venue owners see this information alongside your quote when comparing, so service and reputation count too.
Do you provide market insights for wholesalers?
Yes. We work with Datafly to provide our wholesale partners with valuable insights and trends — what's selling, where pricing is moving, and where there are gaps in the market.
How do I join as a wholesaler?
Submit your details here and we'll get back to you within 24 hours.

Pricing & Data

Where does the pricing data come from?
Directly from wholesalers, returned as competitive quotes during the 7-day tender process. We don't scrape or estimate — every price you see is a real, current offer from a supplier who can deliver to your venue.
Do prices include VAT and duty?
We make pricing as clear as possible, but treatment of VAT and duty can vary by supplier. Where applicable, we highlight whether they're included so there are no surprises in the comparison.
Why do prices vary so much between wholesalers?
Different buying power, stock positions, contractual commitments and regional factors all play a part. Liquid Market simply makes those differences visible so you can act on them.
Can I trust the wholesalers on the platform?
Yes. We only work with legitimate, established suppliers. Once you accept a quote, your commercial relationship is directly with them.
Do you work with national and regional wholesalers?
Both. National reach is important, but so are regional pricing and independent suppliers — you'll see a mix of all three.
Can I report missing or inaccurate products?
Yes — and we encourage it. The more input we get from users, the more accurate the product library becomes.

Accounts & Tools

Do I need an account to use the platform?
Yes. Venue accounts are free forever. Click here to get started.
Can multiple team members access one account?
Yes. Useful for teams where buying decisions are shared between managers or with a head office.
Can I export comparison data into a spreadsheet?
Yes. Most operators still live in spreadsheets, so comparison views and quote breakdowns can be exported.
Will I get a notification when my tender closes?
Yes. We'll email you when the 7-day window ends and your comparison view is ready.

Support & Security

How do I contact customer support?
Drop us a message through the platform or via the contact page — we keep it simple and responsive.
Is my business data secure?
Yes. We take data security seriously and only use your information to operate the platform and improve your experience.
Do you share my data with third parties?
No. Your venue identity is hidden from wholesalers during the tender process, and we don't sell or share your data.
What happens if I forget my login details?
Reset it in a couple of clicks here and you're back in.
