How we handle your data
Plain English. What we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

Who we are
Liquid Market (liquidmarketuk.com and app.liquidmarketuk.com) is operated by Datafly Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 14411653), registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. Datafly Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, and your venue or company details (including postcode) when you register.
- Procurement data — the products, volumes and prices you add to your list, invoices you upload, and the tenders and quotes created on the platform.
- Messages — anything you send us through the contact form or by email.
- Usage data — how the site is used, measured with Datafly Signal, our own first-party analytics tool. This only runs with your consent — see our cookie policy.
How we use your data
- To run the platform: building your product list, running tenders, and collecting quotes from wholesalers.
- To protect venue anonymity: wholesalers quoting on a tender do not see who the venue is. Your venue details are only shared with a wholesaler when you choose to accept their quote or ask us to put you in touch.
- To send you service emails — tender updates, quote notifications, and account messages.
- To answer your enquiries and improve the service.
We rely on the following legal bases under UK GDPR: performance of a contract (running your account and tenders), legitimate interests (operating and improving a secure service), and consent (analytics cookies and any marketing you opt into). We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
- Wholesalers (RTMs) — only when you accept a quote or ask to be introduced. Until then, tenders are anonymous.
- Service providers — we use trusted providers for hosting, file storage, and email delivery. They process data on our instructions and cannot use it for their own purposes.
- Legal requirements — if we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. If you close your account we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, unless we need to keep specific records to meet legal or accounting obligations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or port the personal data we hold about you, and you can object to or restrict certain processing. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within one month. If you're not happy with how we handle a request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we'll update this page and, where appropriate, let you know by email. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
