The terms of using Liquid Market

Written to be read. What Liquid Market is, what we do and don't promise, and what we ask of you.

Who we are

Liquid Market (liquidmarketuk.com and app.liquidmarketuk.com) is operated by Datafly Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 14411653), registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, VAT no. GB437689640. By using the site or creating an account you agree to these terms. Questions? [email protected].

What Liquid Market is

Liquid Market is a procurement platform that lets UK hospitality venues put their drinks order out to tender and receive quotes from wholesalers (route-to-market suppliers). We are an intermediary: we are not a wholesaler, we do not sell or supply drinks, and we are not a party to any supply agreement you enter into with a wholesaler.

  • Venue accounts are free. Wholesalers pay a subscription to receive and quote on tenders.
  • Tenders are anonymous: wholesalers see your products and volumes, not your identity, until you choose to share it.
  • Quotes are commercial offers made by the wholesaler, not by us. Prices, availability, delivery terms and credit terms are the wholesaler's responsibility.

Your account and your data

  • You must give accurate information when registering and keep your login details secure. Accounts are for trade users — venues and wholesalers — not consumers.
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of the product, volume and pricing information you upload. Quotes are only as good as the tender they respond to.
  • How we handle personal data is covered in our privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the platform. That includes attempting to identify anonymous venues, submitting quotes or tenders you don't intend to honour, scraping or reselling platform data, uploading unlawful content, or interfering with the service's operation. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

What we don't promise

  • We don't guarantee that any wholesaler will quote on a tender, or that quoted prices will beat what you pay today.
  • Savings figures shown on the platform are calculated from the information you and wholesalers provide, and are estimates, not promises.
  • We work hard to keep the service available and accurate, but provide it "as is" and don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Beyond that, our liability to you in connection with the platform is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim (for free venue accounts, that means we accept no liability for business losses such as lost profits or lost savings).

Intellectual property

The Liquid Market name, site content and software belong to Datafly Ltd or its licensors. The data you upload stays yours — you give us the licence we need to operate the service with it (for example, showing your anonymised product list to quoting wholesalers).

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the platform evolves; material changes will be flagged on this page and, for account holders, by email. These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
